A Free State sailor, Aydin O'Hara represents SYC in competitive dinghy racing. Aydin's competitive record on SailingSA begins in April 2023. Since then 126 races across 15 regattas have been completed. Aydin competes mainly in the ILCA 6 fleet, alongside races in ILCA 4.7. Notable results include victory at the 2025 Kzn ILCA Regionals in the ILCA 6 fleet and strong finishes at the 2025 Gauteng Regional Championships. Aydin remains active in regional dinghy racing.
