Bastien Taylor sails out of HYC in the Western Cape. Bastien's competitive record on SailingSA begins in December 2025. Since then 22 races across 4 regattas have been completed. Most of Bastien's racing has been in Optimist B, with additional starts in other fleets. Bastien's best results include winning the 2026 HYC Cape Classic in the Optimist B fleet, as well as the 2026 HYC Cape Classic in the Optimist B fleet. Bastien continues to build experience across competitive sailing regattas.
