Ben Henshilwood sails out of HYC in the Western Cape. Ben's earliest SailingSA result dates to April 2023. Since then 132 races across 16 regattas have been recorded. Ben competes mainly in the Optimist A fleet, alongside races in Sonnet and Dabchick. Highlights include winning the 2025 SA Youth Nationals in the Optimist A fleet, along with the 2025 Sonnet National Championship in the Sonnet fleet. Ben remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
