Ben Henshilwood represents HYC and races in the Western Cape sailing circuit. Ben's competitive record on SailingSA begins in April 2023. Since then 189 races across 21 regattas have been completed. Most of Ben's racing has been in Optimist A, with additional starts in 29er and Sonnet. Key performances include winning the 2025 SA Youth Nationals in the Optimist A fleet, along with the 2025 Sonnet National Championship in the Sonnet fleet. Ben remains active in regional dinghy racing.
