Sailing from SYC, Cameron Diesel competes in the Free State dinghy circuit. Cameron's competitive record on SailingSA begins in December 2017. Since then 190 races across 22 regattas have been completed. Cameron's primary class has been Dart 18, with additional appearances in J22 and ILCA 6. Cameron's best results include winning the 2017 SA Youth Nationals in the Dart 18 fleet, as well as the 2022 75Th SA Sailing Dart 18 · Dragonfly · Halcat · Hobie 14 Nationals in the Dart 18 fleet. Cameron remains active in regional dinghy racing.
