Chiara Fruet represents USYC and races in the the region sailing circuit. Chiara's competitive record on SailingSA begins in April 2023. Since then 31 races across 3 regattas have been completed. Chiara competes mainly in the ILCA 4.7 fleet, alongside races in ILCA 6. Highlights include winning the 2023 Msc Dinghy Classes & Hobie 16 Western Cape Regional Championships in the ILCA 4.7 fleet, along with the 2023 Msc Dinghy Classes & Hobie 16 Western Cape Regional Championships in the ILCA 4.7 fleet. Chiara continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
