A Western Cape sailor, Dale Rae represents HYC in competitive dinghy racing. Since February 2024, 53 races across 6 regattas have been recorded for Dale. Most of Dale's racing has been in 29er, with additional starts in Sonnet. Dale's best results include winning the 2025 29Er Nationals in the 29er fleet, as well as the 2025 W. Cape Championships - Dinghy Classes in the 29er fleet. Dale continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
