Sailing from HYC, Dale Rae competes in the Western Cape dinghy circuit. Since February 2024, 77 races across 9 regattas have been recorded for Dale. Dale competes mainly in the 29er fleet, alongside races in Sonnet and 505. Notable results include victory at the 2025 29Er Nationals in the 29er fleet and strong finishes at the 2025 W. Cape Championships - Dinghy Classes. Dale continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
