A KwaZulu-Natal sailor, Daniela Cantarelli represents HMYC in competitive dinghy racing. Daniela's competitive record on SailingSA begins in December 2023. Since then 83 races across 11 regattas have been completed. Most of Daniela's racing has been in ILCA 6, with additional starts in Weta. Highlights include winning the 2025 Hmyc 9 Hr Endurance in the Weta fleet, along with the 2025 Hmyc 9 Hr Endurance in the Weta fleet. Daniela remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
