A KwaZulu-Natal sailor, Daniela Cantarelli represents HMYC in competitive dinghy racing. Daniela's competitive record on SailingSA begins in December 2023. Since then 60 races across 8 regattas have been completed. Daniela competes mainly in the ILCA 6 fleet, alongside races in Weta. Daniela's best results include winning the 2025 Hmyc 9 Hr Endurance in the Weta fleet, as well as the 2025 Hmyc 9 Hr Endurance in the Weta fleet. Daniela remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
