David Laing represents GLYC and races in the Western Cape sailing circuit. David's competitive record on SailingSA begins in January 2025. Since then 19 races across 3 regattas have been completed. David competes mainly in the ILCA 7 fleet, alongside races in Fireball. Highlights include winning the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet, along with the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet. David continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
