A Western Cape sailor, Emma Deversen represents HYC in competitive dinghy racing. Emma's competitive record on SailingSA begins in February 2025. Since then 37 races across 5 regattas have been completed. Most of Emma's racing has been in Optimist B, with additional starts in other fleets. Notable results include victory at the 2026 HYC Cape Classic in the Optimist B fleet and strong finishes at the 2026 HYC Cape Classic. Emma continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
