Gordon Guthrie sails out of HYC in the Western Cape. Gordon's earliest SailingSA result dates to December 2023. Since then 88 races across 11 regattas have been recorded. Gordon competes mainly in the Hobie 16 fleet, alongside races in Sonnet. Notable results include victory at the 2025 TSC Cape Classic in the Hobie 16 fleet and strong finishes at the 2025 HYC Cape Classic Hobie 16. Gordon remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
