Hayley Rae represents HYC and races in the Western Cape sailing circuit. Since February 2024, 92 races across 9 regattas have been recorded for Hayley. Most of Hayley's racing has been in Sonnet, with additional starts in 29er and Dabchick. Notable results include victory at the 2024 Hermanus Cape Classic in the Sonnet fleet and strong finishes at the 2024 Hermanus Cape Classic. Hayley remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
