Herbert Karolius represents DAC and races in the Free State sailing circuit. Herbert's competitive record on SailingSA begins in November 2021. Since then 42 races across 13 regattas have been completed. Herbert competes mainly in the Rocket 55 fleet, alongside races in Fast 42 and Hunter 19. Notable results include victory at the 2025 Hunter Nationals in the Hunter 19 fleet and strong finishes at the 2022 Hunter Nationals. Herbert remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
