About
Deneysville Aquatic Club was founded in 1963 by a group of Springbok power-boat pilots seeking the freedom of the Vaal Dam versus the congested Vaal River. It has grown into one of South Africa's foremost aquatic clubs, hosting keelboat and social events (including Annual DAC Keelboat Week in September, Pursuit Race, King of the Vaal) plus a junior sailing programme.
