James Rae sails out of HYC in the Western Cape. James's competitive record on SailingSA begins in April 2023. Since then 117 races across 12 regattas have been completed. Most of James's racing has been in Dabchick, with additional starts in 29er and Sonnet. James's best results include winning the 2025 29Er Nationals in the 29er fleet, as well as the 2025 Sonnet National Championship in the Sonnet fleet. James continues to build experience across competitive sailing regattas.
