A Free State sailor, Kgotso Koetle represents LDYC in competitive dinghy racing. Since September 2023, 119 races across 16 regattas have been recorded for Kgotso. Kgotso's primary class has been Optimist A, with additional appearances in Dabchick. Highlights include winning the 2024 -09-11 Gauteng Provincials in the Optimist A fleet, along with the 2024 -12-31 Nw Open Dinghy Championships in the Optimist A fleet. Kgotso remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
