A Western Cape sailor, Lele Mseswa represents HYC in competitive dinghy racing. Lele's competitive record on SailingSA begins in December 2023. Since then 76 races across 11 regattas have been completed. Lele competes mainly in the Optimist A fleet, alongside races in other fleets. Key performances include winning the 2025 SA Youth Nationals in the Optimist A fleet, along with the 2026 HYC Cape Classic in the Optimist A fleet. Lele remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
