A Western Cape sailor, Lele Mseswa represents HYC in competitive dinghy racing. Lele's earliest SailingSA result dates to December 2023. Since then 88 races across 12 regattas have been recorded. Most of Lele's racing has been in Optimist A, with additional starts in other fleets. Key performances include winning the 2025 SA Youth Nationals in the Optimist A fleet, along with the 2026 HYC Cape Classic in the Optimist A fleet. Lele continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
