Sailing from HYC, Liam Geldenhuys competes in the Western Cape dinghy circuit. Liam's competitive record on SailingSA begins in February 2025. Since then 71 races across 9 regattas have been completed. Liam competes mainly in the Optimist B fleet, alongside races in Optimist A. Notable results include victory at the 2025 SA Youth Nationals in the Optimist B fleet and strong finishes at the 2025 SA Sailing Youth National Championship - Final 19 2025. Liam remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
