Maximus Taylor sails out of HYC in the Western Cape. Since February 2025, 70 races across 9 regattas have been recorded for Maximus. Maximus's primary class has been Optimist B, with additional appearances in Optimist A. Highlights include winning the 2026 HYC Cape Classic in the Optimist B fleet, along with the 2026 HYC Cape Classic in the Optimist B fleet. Maximus remains active in regional dinghy racing.
