Sailing from GLYC, Michael Hayton competes in the Western Cape dinghy circuit. Michael's earliest SailingSA result dates to February 2024. Since then 14 races across 4 regattas have been recorded. Most of Michael's racing has been in Cape 31, with additional starts in other fleets. Notable results include victory at the 2025 Mykonos Offshore Regatta in the Cape 31 fleet and strong finishes at the 2024 Cape Performance Cup. Michael continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
