Michael Hayton sails out of GLYC in the Western Cape. Michael's competitive record on SailingSA begins in March 2018. Since then 56 races across 11 regattas have been completed. Michael's primary class has been Cape 31, with additional appearances in J22 and Hunter 19. Notable results include victory at the 2019 J22 National Championships in the J22 fleet and strong finishes at the 2023 J22 National Championships. Michael remains active in regional dinghy racing.
