A Western Cape sailor, Nathan McCombe represents HYC in competitive dinghy racing. Since April 2023, 145 races across 18 regattas have been recorded for Nathan. Nathan's primary class has been Optimist A, with additional appearances in ILCA 4.7 and RS Tera Pro. Key performances include winning the 2025 Overberg Regional Championships in the Optimist A fleet, along with the 2024 Hermanus Cape Classic in the RS Tera Pro fleet. Nathan continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
