A Western Cape sailor, Neal Delport represents HYC in competitive dinghy racing. Since December 2024, 33 races across 5 regattas have been recorded for Neal. Most of Neal's racing has been in Hobie 16, with additional starts in other fleets. Neal's best results include winning the 2026 HYC Cape Classic in the Hobie 16 fleet, as well as the 2025 TSC Cape Classic in the Hobie 16 fleet. Neal continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
