Nichol Hakkesteeg represents LDYC and races in the Free State sailing circuit. Since June 2025, 7 races across 1 regattas have been recorded for Nichol. Most of Nichol's racing has been in Stadt 23, with additional starts in other fleets. Highlights include winning the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet, along with the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet. Nichol continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
