A KwaZulu-Natal sailor, Nick Smart represents HMYC in competitive dinghy racing. Since January 2025, 10 races across 2 regattas have been recorded for Nick. Most of Nick's racing has been in Dart 1 up, with additional starts in Dart 18. Nick's best results include winning the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet, as well as the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet. Nick remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
