A KwaZulu-Natal sailor, Shalin Naidoo represents PYC in competitive dinghy racing. Shalin's competitive record on SailingSA begins in December 2023. Since then 69 races across 9 regattas have been completed. Most of Shalin's racing has been in ILCA 4.7, with additional starts in Dabchick and Mirror. Highlights include winning the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet, along with the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet. Shalin remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
