A Western Cape sailor, Shaun Du Preez represents HYC in competitive dinghy racing. Shaun's competitive record on SailingSA begins in April 2023. Since then 30 races across 3 regattas have been completed. Most of Shaun's racing has been in ILCA 6, with additional starts in ILCA 7. Notable results include victory at the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet and strong finishes at the SailingSA events. Shaun remains active in regional dinghy racing.
