A Western Cape sailor, Thomas Henshilwood represents HYC in competitive dinghy racing. Since April 2023, 193 races across 19 regattas have been recorded for Thomas. Thomas competes mainly in the Dabchick fleet, alongside races in 29er and Sonnet. Key performances include winning the 2025 SA Sailing Youth National Championship - Final 19 2025 in the Dabchick fleet, along with the 2025 29Er Nationals in the 29er fleet. Thomas continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
