Matthew Macpherson sails out of HMYC in the KwaZulu-Natal. Since December 2023, 72 races across 9 regattas have been recorded for Matthew. Matthew competes mainly in the ILCA 4.7 fleet, alongside races in other fleets. Highlights include winning the 2025 National Championships - ILCA Classes in the ILCA 4.7 fleet, along with the 2025 Hmyc Grand Slam in the ILCA 4.7 fleet. Matthew remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
