A KwaZulu-Natal sailor, Penny Macpherson represents HMYC in competitive dinghy racing. Penny's competitive record on SailingSA begins in January 2025. Since then 36 races across 7 regattas have been completed. Most of Penny's racing has been in ILCA 6, with additional starts in Dart 18. Penny's best results include winning the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet, as well as the SailingSA events in the multiple fleets fleet. Penny remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
