Rhys Whitfield sails out of UCT in the Western Cape. Since April 2023, 88 races across 11 regattas have been recorded for Rhys. Most of Rhys's racing has been in ILCA 7, with additional starts in ILCA 6 and Sonnet. Notable results include victory at the 2023 Msc Dinghy Classes & Hobie 16 Western Cape Regional Championships in the ILCA 6 fleet and strong finishes at the 2024 Zvyc Southern Charter Classic. Rhys remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
