Dinghy yacht club on Zandvlei Lagoon, Lakeside/Muizenberg. Origins as the Lakeside Boating Club (1906); name Imperial Yacht Club in use by 1921. Part of Zandvlei Sports Club with Peninsula Canoe Club. Family-oriented club with youth sailing and training; racing classes historically include Laser/Ilca, Sonnet, Optimist and Dabchick.
