Taylor Pretorius represents HMYC and races in the KwaZulu-Natal sailing circuit. Since December 2023, 82 races across 10 regattas have been recorded for Taylor. Taylor competes mainly in the Dabchick fleet, alongside races in Dart 18 and Mirror. Taylor's best results include winning the 2025 Hmyc Grand Slam in the Dabchick fleet, as well as the 2025 Hmyc Grand Slam Multihull Final in the Dabchick fleet. Taylor remains active in regional dinghy racing.
