Thomas Funke represents PYC and races in the KwaZulu-Natal sailing circuit. Thomas's competitive record on SailingSA begins in January 2025. Since then 70 races across 9 regattas have been completed. Thomas's primary class has been Mirror, with additional appearances in 505 and ILCA 7. Thomas's best results include winning the 2025 Gauteng Regional Championships in the 505 fleet, as well as the 2025 Sas Kzn Mirror Regional Championship in the Mirror fleet. Thomas remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
