Sailing from HYC, Timothy Weaving competes in the Western Cape dinghy circuit. Timothy's earliest SailingSA result dates to April 2023. Since then 172 races across 21 regattas have been recorded. Timothy's primary class has been Optimist A, with additional appearances in 420 and Sonnet. Highlights include winning the 2025 SA Youth Nationals in the Optimist A fleet, along with the 2025 Overberg Regional Championships in the Optimist A fleet. Timothy continues to compete regularly across provincial and national sailing events.
