Sailing from HYC, Tristan Tomlinson competes in the Western Cape dinghy circuit. Tristan's earliest SailingSA result dates to September 2019. Since then 73 races across 8 regattas have been recorded. Tristan competes mainly in the 420 fleet, alongside races in ILCA 6 and Sonnet. Key performances include winning the 2019 SA Sailing Youth Nationals in the ILCA 6 fleet, along with the 2021 420 Nationals in the 420 fleet. Tristan remains active in regional dinghy racing.
