About
Hout Bay Yacht Club was founded in 1978 as a keelboat club in the working harbour of Hout Bay. Beach sailing for cats/dinghies sustained the club until a marina was developed in 1984 (later extended); current clubhouse opened February 2002. Offers sailing, training, coastal rowing membership, social facilities and venue hire.
