Sailing from CRYC, Roy Gardener competes in the the region dinghy circuit. Since January 2025, 87 races across 5 regattas have been recorded for Roy. Roy competes mainly in the DF95 fleet, alongside races in IOM. Key performances include winning the 2026 Ec Df95 Regional Championship in the DF95 fleet, along with the 2025 Df95 Mpumalanga Championship in the DF95 fleet. Roy remains an active competitor in the Western Cape sailing circuit.
