Mossel Bay Yacht and Boat Club (MBYBC). Formed after a meeting of boating enthusiasts on 24 September 1956 (Marine Hotel, Bland Street); first commodore C. H. Shepherd. Historically based at Quay 4 in the Port of Mossel Bay.
