King Shaka Yacht Club (KSYC) was created to address transformation and development in sailing, offering opportunities to previously disadvantaged individuals. Mission includes training and developing sailors, safety and sportsmanship, volunteerism, and skills that can lead to career paths. Registered Non-Profit Company and Section 18 Public Benefit Organisation (SARS registration noted as in progress on club About). Managed by a volunteer board of trustees and executive committee elected at AGM. Also operates via revolutioniseSPORT portal.
