Vogelvlei Yacht Club sits on Voëlvlei Dam beneath the Limietberg, in the Voëlvlei Nature Reserve near Gouda/Wellington. Focus on amateur dinghy and catamaran sailing (no motorised water sports — dam supplies Cape Town drinking water). Annual Tour de Vlei endurance race is a Western Cape highlight. Members-only access except during regattas; gate locked otherwise.
